The Japanese are famous for finding ideas from other cultures and perfecting them. This is true of the European bidet, which has been developed by the Japanese into a high-tech luxury product. Anyone who has visited Japan is familiar with its amenities and might wish it were possible to enjoy the advantages of a Japanese bidet in their own home. Japanwelt makes this possible for you!

You can turn your toilet into a bidet-toilet simply by exchanging your conventional toilet seat for a Japanese bidet seat.
That sounds complicated. Won’t I have to hire a plumber?
No, not at all. It’s surprisingly easy to do. All you need is an electrical outlet near the toilet and access to the water connection for the toilet’s tank. The bidet fixture is connected to the water supply using a T-fitting. Then you just plug it in and it’s ready to go!
Our bidet-toilet is nothing like an ordinary bidet you may be familiar with. The Japanese bidet does much more than simply clean. You can choose one of the many functions by pressing a button on the user-friendly control panel. Some models even have a remote control.
How does a bidet-toilet work?
Most of the Japanese bidet-seats in our assortment have two separate nozzles that emit warm water. The first nozzle cleans the anus, and the second nozzle cleans the female genital area. The nozzles are cleaned automatically before and after every use. They can also be detached for occasional cleaning if you wish. Both nozzles can be positioned to suit your individual needs.
A small hot water tank within the fixture provides warm water. You can set the temperature of the water to your desired temperature. By pressing a button, air can be mixed with the water to regulate the pressure of the water jet. A water filter inside the bidet fixture filters out any impurities that might be present in the water. This is generally not a problem in regions where the water quality is high. There is also a massage function which allows you to regulate the intensity of the water jet.
The toilet seat itself can be heated to your chosen temperature. What a pleasure to sit on a warm toilet seat! And due to the warm-air drying function, you can do entirely without toilet paper. To prevent the toilet lid from slamming shut, there is an automatic lowering mechanism which ensures gentle closing of the lid.
Thanks to a built-in sensor, the many functions of the bidet-toilet can only be triggered while someone is actually sitting on the toilet. A built-in energy saving function keeps the bidet-toilet from wasting electricity. The bidet’s electrical system is protected from short circuiting by means of an overload absorber.
The Japanese bidet even helps eliminate unpleasant odors in your bathroom. A small ventilator pulls in odor, which is then neutralized by a filter. Affordable luxury that you won’t want to do without - the Japanese bidet helps you feel fresh and clean all day long. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were bidet-toilets at work, too!
